PARIS SHOW PHOTOS

Well my gallery show with Chris Ayers in Paris was very successful and I had a great time. Here are some pics from the show.

TIGERS

Here are a few small tiger quick oil paintings I did for my upcoming show in Paris.

AFRICAN LION

Here is an oil "sketch" of an african lion. I was going for the attitude of this great cat and a simple designed background.

Ambush

I wanted to paint a dramatic scene that showed one of the many predatory situations of the jaguar. Here a jaguar ambushes a pair of snowy egrets on the banks of a jungle river. Jaguar was all from imagination, I had some good ref on the birds, and the background ref came from a recent trip to the Peruvian Amazon.

WORK FOR SHOW

I will be having a two man show with artist Chris Ayers in January at the Galerie Daniel Maghen in Paris France. Here is a shot of my studio that shows most of the oil paintings lined up before I crated them and shipped them off.
